I run Foodiepaws, and I write the guides in The Chew Guide.

Who I am

Foodiepaws is a brand of Revnaq LLC, a United States company based in Ocala, Florida. I am the person behind it. I choose what we sell, I deal with the suppliers, I write the product pages, and I answer the email when you write in — the reply is from me, not a queue.

Why I write these guides

Almost everything I have written started as a real customer question. Which length for a 30 lb dog. Whether a puppy can have one at all. Why none of our chews smells, and what a picky dog is actually responding to. After you answer the same question enough times, it is worth writing down properly.

So the guides are built from three things: the specifications of the products we actually sell, the questions people actually send us, and published veterinary and industry guidance where the question goes beyond what I can answer from our own catalogue.

What I am not

I am not a veterinarian and I am not a canine nutritionist, and nothing on this site is veterinary advice. If your dog has a health condition, is on a restricted diet, has had a blockage or dental work, or is behaving unusually after a chew, ask your vet — they know your dog and I do not.

Where a guide touches on safety — choking risk, tooth fractures, puppy age, digestibility — I keep it to the conservative, widely agreed position and say plainly when something depends on the individual dog.

How I handle claims

If a figure appears on this site — a protein percentage, a calorie count, a shelf life, a size range — it comes from the product specification or from our own catalogue, and it is stated as what it is. Where a number is an estimate, it says estimate. Illustrative chew-time estimates state their assumptions and vary by dog; they are not measured Foodiepaws results or guarantees. Protein, calorie and shelf-life specifications are separate from those time estimates.
