Privacy policy
Effective date: August 16, 2026
Your privacy is important to us. The short version hasn't changed since the day we opened: we don't sell or rent your personal information. We collect what we need to get an order to your door and, if you asked for it, to tell you about new chews. This page is the long version — what we collect, who touches it, and what you can make us do about it.
This policy covers foodiepaws.com and our customer emails. Foodiepaws is a brand of Revnaq LLC, which is the business responsible for your information.
What we collect
- What you give us when you order: name, shipping and billing address, email address, phone number, and what you bought.
- Payment information: handled by our payment processors. We receive confirmation that a payment succeeded plus the last four digits and card type — we never see or store your full card number.
- Account and subscription details if you create an account or start a Subscribe & Save plan: your saved addresses, your delivery frequency, and your order history.
- What you write to us: emails, phone calls, and the reviews or photos you post on the site.
- Technical information collected automatically: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed, and how you arrived — through cookies and similar technologies.
We don't ask for and don't want sensitive information such as government ID numbers, health data, or precise geolocation.
Why we use it
- To take payment for, fulfill, ship, and support your order — this is the main reason we hold anything at all.
- To run subscriptions: charging the right amount on the right date and shipping the right box.
- To answer your questions and handle returns, refunds, and claims.
- To send marketing email or SMS only if you opted in, and to stop the moment you opt out.
- To measure our own advertising and show you our chews on other sites, unless you opt out.
- To publish reviews you chose to submit.
- To keep the site working, prevent fraud, and meet our tax and legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We do not sell or rent your personal information, and nobody gets it in order to market their own products to you. We rely on service providers who process information on our behalf and on our instructions, and on the advertising platforms listed below, which receive activity from this site so we can measure and target our own ads. Rather than freeze a vendor list that goes stale the moment we add or drop a tool, here are the categories, with current examples:
- Our store platform and hosting — Shopify, which runs this site and its checkout.
- Payment processing — the processors behind Shopify's checkout, which handle card data directly.
- Shipping carriers — currently USPS, UPS, and DHL Express, which need your name and address to deliver the box.
- Subscription management — currently Appstle, which runs Subscribe & Save schedules and renewals.
- Advertising and measurement platforms — currently Google (Ads, Analytics, and Merchant Center), Meta, and TikTok. Through cookies and similar technologies they receive activity from this site — such as pages viewed and purchases — so we can measure how our advertising performs and show you our chews elsewhere. Under United States state privacy laws this counts as “sharing” for cross-context behavioural advertising, and you can opt out of it: see “Cookies and tracking” just below.
- Email, SMS, reviews, and customer support tools — including systems operated by Revnaq LLC, our parent company.
- Professional advisers — accountants and lawyers, where needed.
We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or someone's safety, or to a successor if our business is sold — in which case this policy continues to apply to information transferred.
Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart working, remember you, and understand how the site is used. Some are strictly necessary; without them checkout doesn't function. Others are analytics or advertising cookies, including those set by the advertising platforms named above.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and most browsers offer a "Do Not Track" or Global Privacy Control signal. Where we use advertising cookies that count as "sharing" or "targeted advertising" under United States state privacy laws, we honour the Global Privacy Control as a valid opt-out, and you can also email us to opt out.
Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live — including California, Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, and other states with privacy laws, as well as Canada — you may have the right to:
- Know and access what personal information we hold about you;
- Correct inaccurate information;
- Delete your information;
- Get a copy in a portable format;
- Opt out of sale, of sharing for cross-context behavioural advertising, and of targeted advertising;
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights — your prices and service stay exactly the same;
- Appeal if we refuse a request.
To exercise any of them, email questions@foodiepaws.com with the subject line "Privacy request". We'll verify it's really you — usually by confirming details of a recent order — and respond within 45 days, or tell you if we need longer. An authorised agent may act for you with written permission. There's no charge.
Some information we must keep even after a deletion request — order and tax records, for example — and we'll tell you when that applies.
Marketing
We only email or text marketing to people who asked for it. Every marketing email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom, texts stop when you reply STOP, and you can always just ask us. Opting out of marketing doesn't stop the transactional messages you need — order confirmations, shipping notices, and subscription renewal reminders.
How long we keep things
Order records are kept as long as we need them for accounting, tax, and warranty purposes — generally seven years. Marketing contacts are kept until you opt out. Support emails are kept while they're useful and then deleted. Account and subscription data is kept while the account is open.
Security
The site runs over encrypted connections, payment data goes straight to processors that specialise in handling it, and access to customer records inside our business is limited to the people who need it. No system is perfect, and we won't pretend otherwise — but if a breach ever affects your information, we'll notify you and the relevant authorities as the law requires.
Children
This site is for adults buying treats for dogs. It isn't directed to children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has given us information, write to us and we'll delete it.
Information from outside the United States
We operate in the United States, and our service providers may process information there. If you order from Canada, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws differ from your own.
Changes to this policy
We'll update this page when our practices change, and the effective date at the top always tells you which version is current. If a change is significant, we'll say so on the site or by email.
