What is a lamb collagen stick?

It is the corium — the collagen-rich middle layer of lamb skin — braided and slow oven-dried. One ingredient, nothing added, never coated or treated. It is the rawhide alternative in this range: a chew of similar shape that actually breaks down.

How is it different from a bully stick?

Lighter, leaner and a little softer. A bully stick is the longer project; collagen is the everyday chew. It also chews down clean rather than flaking, so it is the one to reach for indoors and on a rug.

Which dogs is it for?

Dogs from 25 lb, and puppies from 12 weeks once they are in that band: both lamb lines start at 6 inches, which is the 25–60 lb length, so under 25 lb the chart gives a 4-inch or a thin bully stick instead. It is the gentlest chew here, which makes it a sensible first natural chew for a puppy and an easy one for a senior with tired jaws. Lamb is also a different protein from beef, which matters if you rotate proteins.

Which length?

Six-inch is the starting point for a 25–60 lb dog. Twelve-inch is for 60 lb and over, or a medium dog that works through a 6-inch too quickly.
