Is collagen safe for puppies?

Start with the right size and supervise from 12 weeks on. A 12-inch stick is sized for dogs 60 lb and over; chewing strength does not override that size range. A puppy of 25 lb and up starts on the 6-inch Lamb Collagen Sticks; under 25 lb, on a 4-inch or thin bully stick.

Where are Foodiepaws chews made?

Produced to our own specification at our food-grade facility in Azerbaijan, on the Caspian Sea between Europe and Asia, then imported to the United States and shipped from our warehouse in Ocala, Florida. Our beef and lamb are grass-fed and free-range, and every batch is lab-tested before it is packed. Certificates of analysis are available on request.

How is it different from a bully stick?

Lamb collagen is a braided lamb-skin chew; a bully stick is beef pizzle. They offer different ingredients and textures.

Will it leave crumbs on the rug?

A collagen braid can loosen as your dog chews. Remove detached strands or broken pieces, and end the session at three inches remaining or sooner if the chew could fit entirely inside the mouth.

12-Inch Lamb Collagen Sticks – Natural Dog Chew.

These lamb collagen sticks are a single-ingredient natural dog chew, sized for dogs 60 lb (27 kg) and over that want a longer chew session. At 12 inches, this collagen chew is a good fit for large dogs, or any dog 60 lb and over that goes through shorter chews quickly.

What's in it:

100% lamb collagen. One ingredient. No fillers, no additives, nothing artificial.

Why choose this collagen chew:

These single-ingredient lamb chews provide natural collagen for joint support and help clean teeth as your dog chews. Their braided texture offers a durable, engaging chew, while lamb gives owners an alternative to beef-based treats. Introduce gradually and choose ingredients your dog tolerates.

Size:

12 inches long — a longer collagen chew stick built for dogs that want more chew time, or for owners who want a bigger dog treat than a standard-length chew.

Best for:

Dogs 60 lb (27 kg) and over, and especially those that work through a 6-inch stick quickly. Dogs 25–60 lb start with the 6-inch collagen stick.

1 Always supervise your dog while they enjoy a chew. 2 Provide fresh drinking water at all times. 3 Select a chew slightly larger than your pet’s mouth. 4 Remove & discard small or broken pieces — they’re a choking risk. 5 Hard chews may stress teeth — monitor your dog’s chewing habits. 6 Trade and discard at three inches remaining, or sooner if the piece could fit entirely inside the mouth. 7 For intermittent or supplemental feeding only — not a complete diet, per AAFCO guidelines. Not for human consumption — however tempting it looks.
